          Everest                                                               First Ascent:  1953                                                    Tenzing Norgay, Edmund Hillary                                       First Ascent of SW Face:  1975                                         British expedition led by Bonington                                   You've just joined a climbing                                         team on its way to Everest.  But,                                     you need to practice by scaling                                       a series of other mountains first.                                                                                                          This brief tutorial helps you                                         get started.  (Check the manual                                       for more details on climbing.)                                                                                                              You climb by setting goals,                                           carrying tents and other                                              supplies to make camps.                                                                                                                     When in doubt, click Left Button                                      to get the main menu.                                                 First, establish your goal                                            Base camp is the lowest waypoint.                                     (the yellow circle)                                                                                                                         Click on one of the waypoints                                         connected to base camp to set it as                                   your goal.                                                              (You'll see camp stats, and a                                          button to set the goal)                                            Next step is to carry tents and                                       other equipment to the goal to                                        prepare Camp 1.                                                                                                                               1. Click on Base Camp                                                 2. Assign Orders to climbers.                                                                                                             Be sure to adjust loads so that at                                    least one person carries a tent.                                                                                                            After assignments, click on MENU,                                     then GO CLIMB                                                         Convert the goal into a camp:                                         Click on the goal, then choose                                        TENTS from the menu                                                                                                                         Once a camp has been set up,                                          climbers can sleep there.                                             Once you have a camp set up, you                                      need to Assign your climbers to                                       carry more equipment to that camp.                                                                                                          Then set a new goal, and continue                                     until you reach the summit!                                           This completes the tutorial.                                          You're on your own now!                                                                                                                     Use F1 or the Hints button                                            to obtain further help.
